Churches - with over 60 parishes, Mid Devon is rich in its stock of town and village churches, from the parish in Crediton whose history and links with St Boniface stretch back 1300 years to "modern" parish churches of less than 100 years old. A "St Boniface" leaflet, available locally, details the life and achievements of the unusual man born in Crediton in about 680 AD.
