Car Parks Print E-mail

A few years ago, a group of Cullompton shopkeepers, in partnership with the Town Council, took over the running of St Andrew's car park to provide free parking for shoppers and visitors to the town.

The 45 space car park now offers up to two hours free parking during business hours so that people can shop, visit the banks or Post Office, or the other businesses in town. The car park is situated on the right hand side of the St Andrew's Hill which is the road between Baclays bank and the Manchester Building Society.

Contributions for the running of the car park have been received from Cullompton Carpet Centre, Culm Meat Supplies, Denners Hardware, Dalzell Distribution, Instep Quality Footwear, Londis, Tavy textiles, Thorne and Carter and Veysey & Sons.
